Much of the anti-Semitism to which we have referred and which appears on the surface around the world is only the tip of the iceberg. The most vicious and far-reaching anti-Semitism is that which has been exercised by governments, international corporations (especially oil companies), and religious institutions, both Protestant and Catholic. There are no moral principles or loyalties – the only motive for any partnership is profit.

One week before his death of cerebral hemorrhage on April 4, 1945, Franklin D. Roosevelt promised Ibn Saud that the US would not assist the Jews against the Arabs. His successor, Harry S. Truman (who would shock the world three years later by recognizing Israel only minutes after its declaration of independence), realizing that his ministers were betraying him, began an investigation that was stopped by Allen Dulles’s threats of oil sources drying up. Israel is in the grip of a terror offensive as Palestinians have been attacking Israelis with knives and driving their cars at them. Between September 13 and November 30, 2015, 22 Israelis were killed and 215 wounded.

The attacks began after false accusations that Israel was defiling the Al Aqsa Mosque (on the site of the former Jewish Temple in Jerusalem). Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has been telling his people that Israel was planning to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and “change the Arab and Islamic character and identity” of Jerusalem. He condemned Jews for “defiling the Aqsa Mosque with their filthy feet.” Radical Islamist and terrorist elements are calling on Palestinian youth to murder Jews. Statements by Fatah and Hamas have described the attacks as “heroic actions” and “the natural response to Israel”s crimes.”

All of the makes the possibility of a “peace settlement” even more remote. According to a recent poll, the majority of Palestinians don’t want a “two state solution” as proposed by the US, EU, and UN. They want a new “intifada” to replace the whole of Israel with a Palestinian state — preferably, one that now would be ruled by Hamas and jihadi organizations such as Islamic State and Al-Qaeda. Their problem is not with “settlements” or “poor living conditions” but with Israel’s existence. A majority believes that Israel can —and should —be destroyed.

After the Paris attacks, Netanyahu said:

“The time has come for countries to condemn terrorism against us to the same degree that they condemn terrorism everywhere else in the world.”

However, most of the world does not condemn terrorism against Israel but often supports it and turns its condemnation on Israel. In fact, the French government pays millions of Euros every year to Palestinian NGOs whose stated goal is to destroy Israel, thus helping to finance the radicalization of Palestinian society. Just two days before the Paris attacks, Netanyahu took the European Union to task for setting new guidelines for special labelling of goods produced by Israelis in the West Bank, Golan Heights and Jerusalem, which is widely viewed in Israel as a precursor to an economic boycott of Israel. He said:

“The EU has decided to label only Israel, and we are not prepared to accept the fact that Europe is labelling the side that is being attacked by terrorism.”

The world generally does not care about what happens to Israel and sides with those seeking to destroy her. But the Lord does care. Jeremiah prophesied a time when Israel will hear “a voice of trembling, of fear and not of peace.” This is the time of Jacob’s trouble, “but he shall be saved out of it” (Jeremiah 30.4-7).

At this time the Lord says:

“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, because they have called you an outcast saying, ‘It is Zion for whom no one cares.”(Jeremiah 30.17)

Archaeologists in Israel have uncovered ancient epitaphs in both Greek and Aramaic that date back to the first century.

[It was reported] that the inscriptions were found in a cemetery that is located in the ancient Galilean capital city of Zippori.

“Zippori was the first capital of Galilee from the time of the Hasmonean dynasty until the establishment of Tiberias in the first century CE. The city continued to be central and important later on,” researchers explained in a press release announcing the discovery.

Four words which are part of the inscriptions were thus far able to be decoded. One word, in Greek, means “Jose,” a common Jewish name during the period, the three other words are Aramaic for “the Tiberian,” “forever,” and “rabbi.” Click here to continue reading.

Isn’t it interesting that the man who is hailed as the very “Vicar of Christ” and who in the name of the Church of Christ recently signed a peace treaty with the so-called “Palestinian State” has come to America to meet with the man who virtually gave the terrorist state of Iran a nuclear program and 150 billion dollars, in the face of the fact that Iran considers the obliteration of Israel a “non negotiable” fact?

The irony is that the two Gentile rulers are having their unprecedented meeting on the Jewish High Holy Day of Yom Kippur, the day of national fasting, mourning, and repentance of sin.

The One who is the “head” of the Roman Catholic church, the so-called “Holy Father,” will also meet with the U.N. and will hoist the Vatican flag over the U.N. alongside the “Palestinian” flag, representing the solidarity of the “Holy See” with the Arab claim on land that God gave to the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as an unconditional covenant forever. And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:  For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.  Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. (Genesis 13:14-17—bold added)

Obama, the president of the United States and one of the Gentile kings of the earth, is the most hostile president to the state of Israel we have ever seen in the USA. He is a consistent supporter of Islam, having empowered ISIS, and disrupted the entire Middle East, turning it over to Muslim Brotherhood operatives, not to mention his unprecedented support for the Shia Iranian regime, an inveterate foe of the USA (the great Satan) and Israel (the little Satan), which it vows to wipe off the face of the earth.

The “Holy Father” is also a Gentile “King of the earth and their rulers.”  He is head of the world’s 1.2 billion Roman Catholics.

The Pope has called Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, the terrorist who planned the 1972 Munich Slaughter of the Israeli Olympic team, a “man of peace” and gave him an “Angel of Peace Medallion.” Abbas recently is quoted as saying that, “…we welcome every drop of Blood spilled in Jerusalem …”

Yom Kippur is on the Levitical calendar of “Appointments” Israel has with God. Israel’s God appointed holidays are appointments in the year and in history. The Spring appointments have already been kept, for the feast of unleavened Bread, the feast of Passover and the feast of First fruits are all realized in the Death of Jesus , the removal of sin by His death and the resurrection of Jesus three days later.

The Summer feast/appointment has also been kept in history, for it was on the feast of Pentecost that the most high poured out of His Spirit upon all flesh, starting in Jerusalem.

What remains are the fall feasts of Israel, Trumpets, Yom Kippur and the feast of Tabernacles. Trumpets ( i.e. Rosh Hoshanna) is a call to Israel to re-gather. We believe that since the re-birth of the nation of Israel in 1948, the trumpets have been sounding.

Yom Kippur is not a feast but a fast and a time of deep repentance for Israel. It corresponds to the Great Tribulation and the coming “time of Jacob’s trouble” spoken of in Jeremiah 30. It is observed as “ten days of awe,” soul-searching, repentance, repudiation of all foreign gods, and great trial.

Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:  And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God?

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:  Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people. ( Joel 2:12-18)

I believe that the meeting of these two powerful Gentile leaders on this the one Jewish feast that is a fast, and a call to repentance and soul-searching, is of deep spiritual significance. Surely, the real “Day of Atonement” is coming soon, as all nations turn away from Israel, and Jerusalem is increasingly becoming a “cup of trembling” to all of the nations round about and a “Burdensome stone” in the road, an impediment to the “New World Order” in which both Obama and the “Holy Father” are heavily invested.

We hear so much about “converging signs” today.  The Bible speaks about end-time signs that will increase like birth pangs near the end. I think we have passed the birth pang process, frankly. 

As a popular TV preacher said, “We’re no longer in Kansas, nor the Land of Oz.” Like Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz”, we’re looking around and seeing that everything is different. Everything we once took for granted and considered normal has been fundamentally transformed and usually not for the better.

But God is allowing it all, even if He isn’t orchestrating chaos, as He is not a God of chaos.

Have you noted recent major stories and how they confirm the words of those of us saying that things aren’t falling apart, they are falling in place. Stories like . . .

• Russia and Iran co-operating and conspiring (Ezekiel 38-39).
• Gog is stirring. Russia has been relatively quiet for decades, but now Vladimir Putin is on the move.
• With ISIS marching towards Damascus, Syria is begging Israel to fulfill Isaiah 17.
• The United Nations, Barack Obama, the Pope, and many more, are clamoring for global government (Revelation 13).  All of these men may have interesting assignments in the kingdom of Antichrist.
• Because of the increase of wickedness, love is growing cold. (Matthew 24:12) Can you say Planned Parenthood? Have we returned to those predicted “days of Noah” where such evil as this was rampant? (Matthew 24:37)
• How about those “perilous times” (II Timothy 3)? Who other than deluded, power-drunk men and women, would give billions of dollars and nuke capacity to the mullahs who want to bring international chaos on the world so their Mahdi can return? Why would Westerners give such power to ayatollahs who want to ignite EMPs above the free world and send us back to the 1800s? Does the Mad Hatter rule?
• Yet world leaders are crying in a Chamberlain-esque manner, “peace and safety!” (I Thess 5:3) They are calling evil good (Isaiah 5:20). Lighting the spark for Armageddon is good. Wiping out Israel is good. Making Iran the Mid East power is good. Allowing mad mullahs to mount nukes on their ICBMs, aimed at Western capitals, is good. This is leading to world peace! And the world will be one. Strong delusion!
• Europe is imploding. Barack Obama has dismantled America. The world is fundamentally transformed, thus it is awaiting a man, somewhere in the shadows, known as the Antichrist. He will  make things right, turn darkness into day, re-distribute wealth, and more. As Paul Henri Spaak, former Secretary General of NATO, said of a future “Mr. Fix-It,” if he could lift us out of an economic morass, “be he god or devil, we will receive him.” Note the adoration of Pope Francis. This is a foreshadowing. He is warranting the largest security effort in U.S. history. You would think he represents the Second Coming.
• Apostasy is so bad in many churches that people no longer attend church (II Timothy 4:3).
• The predicted evil is rising (II Timothy 3). The Hindu goddess Khali was beamed onto the Empire State Building a month ago. Perhaps she is the new matriarch of America, replacing our founders’ dream of a God-inspired America.
• And ALL nations are having “distress with perplexity” (Luke 21:28). ALL nations have dilemmas for which there are simply no solutions which is the meaning of “distress with perplexity”.

I could go on and on but you get the point. We can’t let breaking news interpret the Bible but we can see that a newspaper in one hand and a Bible in the other is complimentary. This doesn’t have to be newspaper exegesis.

Scripture says that when we see these things BEGIN to  happen, we are to lift up our heads and know that our redemption draws nigh. That BEGAN to happen in 1948 with the re-birth of Israel. How much closer are we now?

Everyone who is watching the signs of the times has a sense of urgency. A sense that there is a countdown. A sense that things are not the same and will never be the same again.

And we don’t have a yellow brick road that leads to a fantasy-land where all the good times will resume, but we do have our Heavenly Home where all things are perfect.

An author and Middle East expert says violent Muslims are the reason more Jews are fleeing France and immigrating to Israel.

“The Muslim population in France has been rising rapidly,” says David Rubin,” and has been more and more violent and less afraid to attack Jews.”

A record-breaking number of French Jews left that country from France in 2014, a total of 7,200, The Associated Press reported. That number is double the 2013 figure.

Many of the French Jews are relocating to the city of Natanya, where French is spoken rather than Hebrew.

Jews have also been targeted in Belgium, Denmark and other European countries, but France has the largest number of Jews in Europe and has seen the worst of it. Click here to continue reading.
