Is Jesus Really God?
We Believe He is Who He Says He is ... GOD.

(Scriptures for your consideration.)
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, He returns to his earth; in that very day His thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:the LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: Psalms 146:3-8

Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him because He not only broke the Sabbath but also said that God was His Father making Himself equal with God. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God. Philippians 2:5,6

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. I Timothy 3:16

But to the Son He says: Your throne O God, is forever and ever, A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. Hebrews 1:8

… of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen. Romans 9:5

And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness... Genesis 1:26

For in Him [Jesus] dwelleth All the Fullness of the Godhead Bodily!"Colossians 2:9

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one! I John 5:7

'"The same [Jesus]was in the Beginning with God." John 1:2'

'"and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth."John 1:14'

'"...he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father and how sayest thou then, shew us the Father?"John 14:9'
'Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" John 20:28'

…looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus" Titus 2:13'

'I and My Father are one."John 10:30'

'"And now, O Father, Glorify Me together with Yourself with the glory which I had with You before the world was."John 17:5'

'"Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt and thou shalt know no God but Me: For there is No Saviour besides Me!"Hosea 13:4'

'"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God!" Isaiah 40:3'

'"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us!"Matthew 1:23'

'"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with Child of the Holy Spirit."Matthew 1:18'

'For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulders. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6'

'"Return to thine house, and show what great things God hath done unto thee. And he went on his way and published throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done unto him."Luke 8:39'

'Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, many good works have I shewed you from My father; for which of those works do ye stone Me?The Jews answered Him, saying, for a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that Thou, being a man, makest Thyself God." John 10:30-33'

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My[Jesus]day, and he saw it and was glad. Then the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM. John 8:56-58

'"You are My witnesses, saith the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen, that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I AM He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, AM the Lord; and beside Me, there is no Saviour!"Isaiah 43:10-11'

Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. I Corinthians 10:1-4'

'"For we shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So, then, "every one of us shall give account of himself to God."Romans 14:10b -12'

'"And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal Life."I John 5:20'

Contemplative Spirituality: A belief system that uses ancient mystical practices to induce altered states of consciousness (the silence) and is rooted in mysticism and the occult but often wrapped in Christian terminology. The premise of contemplative spirituality is pantheistic (God is all) and panentheistic (God is in all). Common terms used for this movement are "spiritual formation," "the silence," "the stillness," "ancient-wisdom," "spiritual disciplines," and many others.

Spiritual Formation: A movement that has provided a platform and a channel through which contemplative prayer is entering the church. Find spiritual formation being used, and in nearly every case you will find contemplative spirituality. In fact, contemplative spirituality is the heartbeat of the spiritual formation movement.
