Who Are We and What We Do
WHO WE ARE
Lighthouse Trails Publishing, Inc. is a corporation in the State of Montana and is operated and managed by David Dombrowski (Chief Editor and President) and Deborah Dombrowski (Managing Editor and Vice President). The publishing division began in 2002 and the research project in 2004. There are currently about 45 people who work with Lighthouse Trails throughout North America including authors, editors, writers, webmaster and computer technicians. We are not a non-profit 501 (c)3 government organization. However, like a non-profit ministry, we give away thousands of books, booklets, DVDs, articles, and other materials, which makes us a very unique publishing company.

OUR MOTTOS
"Bringing light to areas of darkness" and "A light shining in the darkness"
WHAT IS OUR MOTIVE?
That is really very simple: The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because we believe that this Gospel - that Jesus died on the Cross to pay the penalty for man's sins and that He arose on the 3rd day and has offered salvation freely to whosoever will come to Him - is the only means of eternal salvation for any person, our motive is to contend for that faith so that others may hear that Gospel and believe on it.
HOW WE GOT STARTED
As a response to learning that a mystical-type spirituality had entered the Christian church through many avenues, we began Lighthouse Trails. This spirituality, called contemplative spirituality or spiritual formation, was infiltrating youth groups, churches, seminaries, and Bible studies at an alarming rate through the Spiritual Formation movement, the emerging church, the Purpose Driven movement and so forth. In the spring of 2002, we began Lighthouse Trails Publishing with the hope of exposing this dangerous and pervasive mystical paradigmsix months later we published our first release, A Time of Departing by Ray Yungen. We believe every Christian should read this book. Sadly, many Christians are reading and enjoying books like The Shack, Purpose Driven Life, and a multitude of books that are leading away from the Gospel, not to it.
In 2007, we published Faith Undone by Roger Oakland. This was our response to the emerging church (which we also call the "new" spirituality). This hard-hitting, dynamic book reveals the underlying roots of what some consider a new revised Christianity for a postmodern world.
Because the premise of this spirituality is both pantheistic (God is all things) and panentheistic (God is in all things), thus refuting the Gospel message of the Cross, we are compelled to address this issueLighthouse Trails Publishing and our research ministry, Lighthouse Trails Research Project, are here as a service to the body of Christ.
Since publishing A Time of Departing, we have been able to publish several other books, including some biographies that we consider exceptional and important. For instance, one of them, Trapped in Hitler's Hell, is the true story of a Jewish teen who became a Christian and lived through the Holocaust in Germany. She is still alive today, and her story is so powerful and inspirational that we believe every Christian family should read it. The lessons we can learn from that time in history are vital and should not be forgotten.
Each of the books and DVDs we publish and/or distribute has been prayerfully chosen ... and we believe the message in each one will help equip Christian families and loved ones with biblical truth and inspiration to stand in courage and strength as you defend the faith and walk with Jesus Christ. We join you in that effort, knowing that it is only by His grace we are able to do so.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We have written a lengthy docrinal statement. You can read that by clicking here. The statement does not list everything we believe. In a nut shell, we believe the Bible is the inerrant, God-inspired, true and holy Word of God.

OUR MISSION
We are dedicated to bringing clarity and light to matters affecting our society and the church today and to preserving the integrity of the Gospel.
We
pledge ourselves to uphold the all sufficiency of the atonement
of Christ as the only way of salvation and that any additions
or substitutions to Christ's finished work on the Cross are only
corruptions of the truth.
It is our belief that the greatest honor any Christian can give to God is to uphold the shed blood of the Lamb of God as all sufficient and necessary to salvation to those who cling to it by faith through His grace. There can be no honor to God to offer up the filthy rags of our own righteousness.
We recognize the Word of God as the sole authority and basis of all spiritual and essential truth, and wholeheartedly use it as the guide for all of our research and each of our conclusions.
