The primary duty of every pastor is spelled out in Eph. 4:11-:13. The primary reason for their primary duty is spelled out :14-:16. so that we may no longer tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the cunning of men...... Failing to do this many will go the way of :17-:19 ....no longer live as the gentiles do, in the futility of their minds; darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them..... This why pastor/teachers will be judged more harshly. I will add that elders who fail to hold the pastor accountable are in the same boat. Pastors also need to hold other pastors accountable. Paul publicly rebuked Peter to his face. The priority is souls not feelings.

This is a very informative vocabulary list to gauge where the deception is leading. Just reading the list is very insightful and can reveal the outline of the deception, delusion, and great apostasy in compared with the truth of the Gospel. It is like satan inverted everything about the Gospel and Truth, and called it 'enlightenment' and repackaged it to Christians as the 'emergent church spirituality.' And they can't tell the difference because the light in them has gone dark.
