For what it is worth, the following quote is from a website/ministry that Hybel's son-in-law runs: "The Practice is an experimental gathering where we immerse ourselves in God’s dream for humanity, practice the historic disciplines that align us with His dream, and carry each other along the way. We are learning to live out Jesus’ teachings in the world." [http://www.practicetribe.com/] This is particularly pertinent given Warren Smith's recent article on God's Dream......

Study the LHT links before you read the article. The headline becomes a sad joke. Why do I say that? Willow Creek's theology is just as offensive, if not more offensive, than the behavior of either Bill or the elders. Error only begets more error. It was founded upon customer marketing, seeker friendly world conforming principles. The statement of faith is mostly true. They simply removed the words that offend the lost, concerning man, sin and salvation. This lead to PC tolerance. they signed documents of commonality with Muslims and commonality with Catholics. they showed formal approval of modellist pastors and emergent pastors. None of this bothered the teaching pastor?????? Talk about misplaced priorities. The primary duty of every pastor is to protect the flock from the wolves of deceptive teachings.
