It’s sad to know that more and more people don’t believe that the holocaust is real. I had the privilege of meeting a holocaust survivor in a coffee shop I frequented. I talked with her on several occasions about how she lived as a girl, all by herself, much like an animal, in the woods for a couple years to avoid being captured and how she eventually was caught and taken to a camp very much like the one described above. For years she never knew if her family members were alive, captured and taken to camps, or dead. It’s all very, very real and often beyond belief. We can never forget.
