    Dear Lighthouse Trails,
Ever since I called up Lamb and Lion Ministries I have had no response from either David Reagan or Col. Tim Moore (the one who interviewed Albert Mohler). Maybe they are both busy investigating Mohler.

I called Lamb and Lion Ministries this a.m. and asked them not to have Albert Mohler on their program in the future. Told the secretary there how Mohler is taking unbibllical views about gay agenda and caving to their demands plus other Progressive actions. They had Mohler on their program on Wed., Feb. 19th.

I just saw Albert Mohler being interviewed on Lamb and Lion Ministries. All I can say is that he is not what David Reagan thinks he is. I noticed that he changed the conversation from gay marriage to polygamy very quickly and did not really give his stance on homosexuality in the church. I am so disappointed that D. Reagan is not up to date on the apostasy going on in colleges and churches. I suppose the SB Theological Seminary in Kentucky is also doing the Spiritual Formation. However, this program is great on prophecy and Israel and is pre-trib. I watch it every wk.

Yes Christ will build his church & the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. But his true church are born again spirit filled Christians who have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and read His Word daily. Gods Word says he will separate the tares from the wheat at His return. Matt.13:30
Read Matt.24 …warns us about the deception that is coming.. a conservative church lives by these truths. God is truth.

Lamb and Lion Ministries, David Regan, just had Mohler as a guest commentator. I have always trusted Brother Regan so am disappointed at his lack of discernment and research into Mohler and his embracing lgbqt political correctness as a biblical mandate.

Fully agree . We are living in the end times. All these things are happening. There is deception in churches everywhere. But as God’s word says he will “separate the tares from the wheat” Matt.13:30. Discernment is SO necessary I these times. God bless you.

If Beth Moore is scrutinizing the Bible through the lens of the Gospels she has a blurry lens. God is very clear about His stance on homosexuality, both in the O.T. and the new.

By conservative Baptist church I mean a church that is not emergent/progressive, that tries to stick to and obey the Biblical mandates set down by Jesus , not Calvinists.

  9. What is a conservatist Baptist Church? I have always thought there is just one church which Jesus Christ promised He will build and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Or did He say, I will build my churches to be conservatist institutions?

Well, if one has to apply this unbiblical nonsense called Calvinism/Reformed whatever, to its fullest extent, then everything you see, hear, and experience (from being “gay to being a “pedophile”) is “meant” to be.

    Evil.

I am so saddened that Dr. Mohler has abandoned Biblical morality. He needs to read to the Bible all the way through from Genesis to Revelation. I do this yearly. I will be praying that he will be removed from his position by believers with common sense. This has put a stain on all Baptists. I am very grieved. I attend a conservative Baptist church.

Wow……..the craftiness of satan is colossal! There’s so much going on here! I just finished watching the video and I’d like to suggest that you put your discernment goggles on, place your seats in an upright position and fasten your seatbelts! I’ve read some of Sam Allberry’s statements and been to the Living Out website before because of articles Lighthouse Trails has written in the past. I also knew of the position paper written by Madsen and Kirk to convince us there was actually a thing called “gay rights” from David Kupelian’s book, The Marketing of Evil, which I highly recommend! I do not know this to be fact but, my guess is the gentlemen narrating the video, E. S. Williams, is a Calvinist. My guess is Mr. Baker, who is in the video and to whom Mr. Williams quotes in a positive sense, is also a Calvinist. I also think it’s fairly safe to say that Al Mohler belongs to the Calvinist camp as well. So, I would suggest keeping that in mind when viewing the video. I believe it’s a safe assumption to say that, because of the deception of Calvinism, Mr. Mohler is naturally going to say that being homosexual is not a choice. This would fall in line with the the Calvinist view that some people are born as vessels of wrath, meant for destruction and are not “elect”. Lord, help us! While Mr. Williams and Mr. Baker do speak some biblical truths, you have to filter their words as well. Oh how our enemy, the father of lies, loves muddy water!

  13. I forgot to mention, but that is a great article by Cathy Mickels! God bless you for seeking to expose this evil teaching that is permeating the churches!

    You are in my prayers!

    With the love of Christ,

  14. I posted my views on the subject of “Gay Christians,” and how the SBC leadership actually affirmed that lifestyle at the 2019 Southern Baptist Convention’s annual meeting. I have included a small excerpt, and you can read the rest of the article at the following link, which goes into detail about some of the others who are responsible for leading God’s people astray, especially in regard to the acceptance of “same sex attracted” (SSA) people in the churches.

    The 2019 SBC & SSA
THEIR AFFIRMATION OF THE “GAY CHRISTIAN!”

My husband and I attended the 2019 Southern Baptist Convention’s annual meeting, held in Birmingham, Alabama, as messengers for our small church in Mississippi. This was the first time I attended one of these meetings, and it was quite a revealing experience. There have been some major battles taking place among the leadership in the SBC churches for some time now, but people seem to be totally unaware of the “apostasy” that is taking place!

Things are not always the way they seem, and you have to look deeper to really understand where people are coming from and where they are headed. As I see it, the SBC leadership has been “progressively” steering churches away from God, and His truth! And as an SBC church, or follower of Jesus Christ, we can flow with it, or stand against it!

I will not usurp the authority of a man, but I am appealing to Christians, male and female, to prayerfully consider my great concerns. I do not have as much heartache over trivial things or personal preferences, but when the gospel of Jesus Christ is compromised, or the Word of God is maligned, I AM adamantly opposed to those who do that, no matter who it is!

I hope you will prayerfully consider some of the facts that I have gathered, along with other informational research. The following reveals why I am absolutely against leaders in churches, colleges, and SBC entities that willfully “would pervert the gospel of Christ” and “transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ.”

1 Peter 4:17-18 “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

Beth Moore is a popular author, SBC Bible teacher, and evangelist. She is the founder of Living Proof Ministries, and in conjunction with LifeWay Christian Resources—the publishing arm for the SBC—she conducts her conferences. Since the SBC leadership closed all 170 LifeWay stores this year, Moore is prominently advertised at LifeWay.com.

There has been much controversy surrounding Beth Moore regarding her preaching to men, but in this article I am mainly concerned about her affirmation of those who have an affinity towards “same sex attraction”—SSA. In other words, she affirms and condones the homosexual “gay” lifestyle among those who claim to be a Christian or fellow believer.

Here’s a revealing statement (published 29 July 2019) from an excerpt of one her “talks,” where Beth Moore says gay celibacy is a sacrifice. Notice she tries to equate skin color with SSA advocates!

Beth Moore: “I have deliberately started following and reading works of— Far more of Christians of color. And my world, and my heart, has just exploded. I am so thankful. I have come— This is the world we live in.
Let’s not be scandalized by what I am about to say. I have also started following, reading articles and books by our fellow believers who are singles that have, with much dignity and humility, testified to having life-long same sex attraction (SSA), but they have chosen in their fellowship with Christ, to fellowship with him in the tremendous sacrifice of celibacy. That this how they believe I want to follow him. And this is what I believe the scriptures say. And this is how I want to follow him.

And I’ve been so blessed by just reading, getting to know my culture. Getting to understand it through the lens of the gospel. This—We were entrusted to this world…”

End of excerpt of Beth Moore

This woman has it all wrong! I am reminded of what Paul said to the Thessalonians:

1 Thessalonians 2:3 “For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

1 Thessalonians 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.”

As Christians, we are to share the truth of the gospel as we are led by the Holy Spirit, not join the world! May God have mercy on His people who have been led down the road to compromise and error!

Thank you Lighthouse Trails for shining a light on this extremely important issue that is adversely affecting God’s people in the churches!

You all are always in my prayers!

Thank you for exposing what and has been happening in the SBC. The compromising continues, and pastors are sweeping this corruption under the rug. Our pastor refused to do anything, would not pull out of the SBC, so we left.
