6/15/21 – Provided by Christian News Network— Pastor Tim Stephens was arrested on Monday afternoon on new charges, after Fairview Baptist Church gathered for underground worship for the second week in a row since their church was effectively seized by Alberta Health Services last Saturday.
Alberta authorities were forced to drop other charges against Pastor Tim last month, after discovering that Alberta Health Services never served Pastor Stephens with the court order he was accused of having violated, a requirement under the order. That effectively ended the case against Pastor Tim, but he will now be facing another legal battle. Click here to continue reading and to see a video of the arrest in front of the pastor’s children.
I cried as I watched. So unfair. The innocents are punished while real criminals roam free. Canada is not a free country. There is a war on conservative Christians.
Not happy to read this, but not surprised. When voters, or the courts, in whatever country take positions against God, that nation is in trouble. Look at America. What has happened in Canada is coming here. Do not expect “the law” to stand up for believers in Jesus or the Godly Pastors who stand for the Word of God.
Deeply saddened about taking a Dad from his wife and dear, crying children for being obedient to the Lord, without doing harm to anybody.
So sad, how can this be stopped.
