What is wrong with The Message Bible? Have you actually studied it and compared it? I always want to ask these blinded people who believe God is in everything/everyone — was He in Hitler, leading him to commit atrocities? I can’t imagine they would say Yes. And, of course, that’s just one example. Christ Jesus said He will divide the sheep (His people) from the goats (those who did not receive Him, who did not become His children) in the Judgment. He made it clear that God is NOT in everyone. When people do not know and receive God’s Word as THE standard of right and wrong, when they do not receive the love of the truth, they are deceived and deluded.
I guess the new agers didn’t get God’s memo. He’s not in everything… 4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. 5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: 6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: 7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. 8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them. 9 O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. (Psalm 115:4-9). If they trust in everything… they’ll become as dumb as everything.

So happy to see this. This lie is entering into churches at an alarming rate. I recently encountered a church saying The Shack movie is fine and also The Message Bible is OK. I knew there was no discernment. Praise the Lord we are now attending a solid Bible preaching church!! God is so good!!
