“Antisemitism is Satan’s direct assault on God’s credibility.”
By Chris Katulka
I have often heard evangelicals insist that antisemitism is more than prejudice—that it is spiritual warfare, a satanic assault on God’s Chosen People. I agree. Thoughts I had a few weeks ago reading through Ezekiel…
To reject the redemption of Israel… is it like rejecting that God’s Name is holy and just. Does not the Grace of God through Jesus Christ reflect the same Name?
Just read Ezekiel 36 to see why God extends the grace of redemption… for His Name’s sake, not our merit of it. To accept is bowing to, with the recognition of, the Name of God is Great (verse 23) expressed through… the act of redemption. Man profanes what God requires… but God has the Last Word of mercy extended to the unworthy… because that’s who He is. If we’ll accept it… it’s called faith that justifies us before God.
God has chosen Israel, the Jews, to show us this.
The Son of God became the Son of David from the tribe of Judah to be the Redeemer and Messiah – Jesus Christ, as the eternal High Priest over the House of the God of Israel, shed His blood at the Cross to reconcile us back to God. If we’ll accept this for the forgiveness of our sins… we’re justified before God.
