What a excellent article! We need to pray for wisdom to read and understand our responsibility to our Lord Jesus Christ. In (Ephesians 1:3) the believer is seen as seated together in the heavenlies with Christ. In 1 Peter we find the believer as journeying onto Canaan Rest which is at the end of the way. Both aspects are true, and the one never contradicts the other. As to our Standing we are in Christ in the heavenlies: as to our State we are Pilgrims marching to the Glory. It is a living Hope. Faith must be tested, otherwise it could not be verified. We need not fear when our faith is exposed to
Trial that it indicates any displeasure of God toward us. Rather it indicates His deep interest in and concern for us. We love because He first loved us.

Are the sacrifices worth it? It was for Abraham… and his seed, Jesus Christ—they could see the next generations (Ezekiel 37:25-26; Psalm 128:4-6; Hebrews 11:16; Hebrews 2:11-15). Today, do not good parents do the same out of love for their future generations? Without that hope, do we find ourselves living selfishly?

There is a huge battle raging between Satan and the Saints. We must not turn our back on this war but stand firm in the Holy Spirit and God’s Word. We will not be popular in this world but we look forward to the Lord’s Well done, my faithful servant. The Bible says not to fret when the wicked prosper, so that is what I am trying to do. Not to fret.
