One former yoga instructor says some church-goers and school educators mistakenly believe yoga is just stretching. While stretching is beneficial, she says yoga is not good even if you slap the word ‘Christian’ in front of it.
After having a radical change of heart, Amy Dudley says there is nothing Christian about the practice of yoga no matter what people say.
“Yoga is Eastern Religion. There are several so-called Christian versions of yoga, like ‘Holy Yoga,’ ‘Rev on the Mat,’ and ‘Christian Yoga Association.’ But by changing the name of what you call it, or by doing yoga poses ‘focusing on Jesus,’ I was still deceived. I was certified to teach ‘Rev on the Mat’ so I could teach at local YMCA’s and churches. It makes my stomach turn as these well-meaning fitness-enthusiasts loved Jesus and preached Jesus, but are still moving one degree in the wrong direction and departing from Biblical Scripture.” Click here to continue reading.

Sadly about 5 or so yrs ago, the VA began adopting yoga into their pain management, while cutting down or off analgesic therapy, apparently with no clue what yoga actually IS! They had jumped on the “war on narcotics” bandwagon before the gov’t and civilian authorities did so, and this was part of it. But they are teaching this to hundreds, perhaps thousands, of unsuspecting veterans, leaving them wide open to oppression or worse.
