If the White House and conservative thought leaders don’t condemn the former Fox News host’s platforming of Jew-hatred, a tipping point may soon be reached.

Extremists always pose a dilemma for mainstream politicians and journalists. Ideally, the best way of dealing with them is to ignore them. Hate-mongers thrive when they are able to seize the spotlight and hold onto it. Deprived of attention, they wither on the vine when they are confined to the fever swamps of the far right or left, where most people don’t seem to notice or care about them.

However, if their audiences are sufficiently large and they are treated by people who matter, whether national figures or opinion leaders, as falling within the proverbial Overton Window of acceptable discourse, ignoring them isn’t really an option. Click here to continue reading.

  1. Tucker Carlson has said both that he is not a very good Christian and that he attributes that to being an Episcopalian.
Now he uses his identity as a Christian to claim that he can spot a heretic such as his claim that all Christian Zionists are heretics. I was an Anglican (Canada) for many years and never heard any sermons about Israel, Zionism, etc. so was not at all informed about the Bible’s views on Israel. How has he formed such a strong animus toward anybody, especially Christians, who are Zionists? I don’t think that he has studied many of the subjects for which he gives a platform to his equally uninformed guests. Daryl Cooper was also on and Tucker said he was the greatest historian , while Cooper made many outrageous claims that real historians quickly debunked. Unfortunately, he is very popular and many people will be confused and even led astray by his growing influence. Conservatism is no longer a trusted political brand.

  2. When Tucker was first dumped by the network, and set up his own website/podcast. I became a paying subscriber. When I first saw his antisemitism surface, I was disgusted and immediately, unsubscribed and told him why I was unsubscribing. My hope is that I wasn’t alone in taking the action that I did. I find it incomprehensible for ANY Bible believing Christian, to support antisemitism.
