LTRP Note: With a world (and even the church) that seems frantic to enter altered states of consciousness through any means possible, the warning in this letter to the editor should be heeded. You may also wish to read Ray Yungen’s article: Meditation’s Role in the End of the Age.
Dear Lighthouse Trails:
I am writing to inform you of a product called BrainTap. I first learned of the device through a physical rehabilitation facility in my hometown.
It is described as technology driven meditation and the first of the next generation of mindfulness apps. Promoters boast that traditional meditation and mindfulness apps would take years to achieve what can be accomplished with a few 20-minute sessions; it allows you to reach the same states reached in deep meditation but without years of disciplined practice. I have also read statements indicating BrainTap is gaining rapid popularity among a diverse range of users and becoming an intergal part of wellness programs and stress management initiatives.
It has been featured in some prominent publications: Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Business Insider to mention a few.

Perhaps this device/method is part of the end game of all the emphasis from every quarter these days on mental health. If a person is deemed psychologically stressed or emotionally unstable then he hypothetically could be mandated this kind of treatment and possibly even institutionalized and “pharmaceuticalized,” which seems completely in line with the demonized tyranny into which our society is plunging.
