In January 2016, Lighthouse Trails began mailing out small booklet packs to Christian leaders and pastors three times a year. On December 31, we will be sending out our 3rd mailing of 2019. Since we started the mailings, we have added the names of numerous pastors and ministry leaders, many of whom were sent to us from our readers. Our current list is at 301 names (others were added but removed upon request or invalid addresses). If you would like your pastor to begin receiving these mailings, please send his name and valid church mailing address to us at editors@lighthousetrails.com. We are no longer making the names on this list public as what started out as a well-known “leaders” list is transitioning into more of a “pastors” list, and we wish to respect the privacy of these individual pastors. The following is the letter we will be including with three booklets:
Dear Christian Leader:
We hope you find the enclosed booklets we have published helpful.
The first booklet, Understanding the New Age, Meditation, and the Higher Self gives a concise explanation of meditation. It is especially important for today’s pastors and church leaders to understand what meditation is because of the role it is playing in the lives of so many Christians.
The second booklet, Butterfly Illusions, documents Roma Downey’s New Age influence in the church. While one cannot perhaps question her sincerity, it cannot be ignored that she is propagating New Age ideas with the help and approval of Christian leaders.
The third booklet, Broken Vessels for Christ, written by Harry Ironside (pastor of Moody Church in Chicago from 1929-1948), uses 2 Corinthians 4:10-11 as his text to exhort pastors and all believers to fully surrender our lives to Him as broken and contrite vessels, allowing Him to work through us as He pleases.
Sincerely in Christ,
The Editors at

Note: These mailings cost you or your pastor nothing. However, if you have just added your pastor to the list and would like him to receive, in addition to this current batch, some of the booklets we have sent out previously, you might consider purchasing the 15-booklet Pastors Pack. If you do buy that pack, you can put your pastor’s name in the ship-to section of the online order form. We will send you the receipt and send him the pack. Your name will not be included.
I recently read Johnathon Edwards sermon titled; Narcissism the root of all hypocrisy.
It has occurred to me that narcissism is the root of all apostasy of all heresy. It is the reason famous pastors renounce their faith. It is the reason for condoning acts of immorality by others or by themselves.
It is the root of the seeker friendly movement.
It is the reason that pastors/elders refuse to heed your annual mailings.
No one can serve two masters. This truth is not limited money. It includes every form of idolatry. It includes being esteemed of men and of having the seat of honor. Paid clergy are more afraid of losing the financial security to provide for their family than of offending God
Jesus said that a tree can be judged by it fruit. Those who do not boldly defend the faith do not love God above all else. these men say that Jesus is the head but in practice they see the flock as their own possession. They cannot handle truth. If they could they would behave like the noble Bereans and research and test the information you send.
God told Samuel that the people were rejecting Him not Samuel. God gives spiritual gifts, even the discerning of spirits. When pastors reject your spiritual gift of discernment, they are rejecting God.
My 7 yr. old granddaughter was given a beautifully illustrated book called Mindful. I looked through it and found a page that said Zen. Must be part of the Mindfulness agenda. I warned my son, a missionary about this book and I am sure he will delete it from my granddaughters Christmas gifts.
