What appears to be a wide sweep of Christian organizations and denominations joining together in an ecumenical movement that officially began last year is further indication that a majority of Christendom is becoming interspiritual. The Christian Churches Together in the USA boasts of a membership that includes Salvation Army, World Vision, Reformed Church in America, Open Bible Churches, the Free Methodist Church as well as Call to Renewal/Sojourners (Jim Wallis), ELCA, United Methodist, and US Conference of Catholic Bishops. A membership list also reveals several organizations that are in the “decision making process” of whether or not to join. Some of those include: Church of the Nazarene, Mennonite Church USA, and Association of Vineyard Churches.
