Jack Phillips, the Colorado baker who was vindicated before the Supreme Court in 2018 after he refused to bake a gay wedding cake has been sued again, this time over a transgender themed cake.
Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood, Colorado, is back in court, this time over his refusal to bake a trans-themed cake in 2017. Autumn Scardina, the transgender lawyer who ordered the cake first took action against Phillips by reporting him to the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. After the commission rules in the baker’s favor, Scardina took her case to a district court. Click here to continue reading.
