    Has anyone heard of “gospel allegiance”? I just did, and the author of a book on the subject is Dr. Mathew Bates.
    This sounds like another false gospel.

    This cracked me up. Partying in 1890 might have involved different types of substance abuse than we know of, and more beautiful English than we currently speak to describe it, but some things don’t change. The definition of “fun” for the young is always so much on the edge of danger. Great testimony…
