Lighthouse Trails is pleased to announce a new book by author and widower Kevin Reeves. Kevin lost his wife in March of 2023. He wrote this book one year later.
From the back cover:

A thirty-eight-year marriage. A death from cancer. A hidden treasure of love.
When Kristine Reeves died fifteen days after a cancer diagnosis, she left behind a husband consumed with grief. With their together dreams swept away and Kevin now facing life alone, he saw the future as nothing more than a wasteland—a place to wander until his own call Home. Walking through the valley of the shadow of death, Kevin could not see how he could possibly endure.
Then, found among Kris’ possessions was the one thing he hadn’t seen in years—the collected love poems he had written to her over the decades of their marriage. Among a multitude of love notes and letters he had penned to her deep in the night, the saved poems, spanning the early days of their marriage and into their aging years, were their shared legacy of love.
Inspired by the poems, Kevin decided to write this book, chronicling his journey of remembered love, of inconsolable loss, and of faith that proved the only way to survive his grief walk.
For the grieving widow or widower, Now and Ever, Dear Kristine puts into words what you yourself may be going through; for the couple who still have each other, it will give you a renewed love and devotion for one another, knowing that someday one of you may be in Kevin’s shoes; and for the friend or family member of the bereaved, this book will give you a glimpse into the heart of the hurting one so that you may help in the time of need.
