The orphan girls at Bryce Home #12 (a Lighthouse Trails and Understand the Times sponsored mission work) have just harvested their first crop of Maize. This is going to provide quite a bit of food for the girls. We hope you will consider becoming a part of the support for the 15 Bryce Homes in Kenya. The homes were started by Roger Oakland’s ministry, Understand the Times and are financially supported by UTT and Lighthouse Trails readers. Some wonderful things are happening with the women and children from these 15 homes as new houses are being built, Bibles are being given, mature Christian leadership is taking place, medical needs are being met, food and other needs are being provided, and now an agricultural program has been initiated.
If you would like to donate to this work, please visit UTT. If you would prefer to donate through Understand the Times, where your donations are tax deductible, please click here. The following slideshow shows the harvest of the Maize as well as the widows who are making braided baskets for Lighthouse Trails readers (read more about the basket project here).
