Thanks so much for posting this! John 16:33 is dear to my heart and the Holy Spirit brings it to my remembrance almost daily. Years ago I learned it as a praise chorus set to music, and that has been a tremendous blessing in my life.

Isaiah 26:3 is very special to me because the Lord ministered to me very strongly and sweetly with that verse when I was in the midst of a terrible calamity years ago. Thanks so much for posting this! 🙂

Peace I leave with you. A heart-warming article Lighthouse. Henry Ironside was one of the greatest Gospel Preachers of the 20th century. He had a 6th grade education and a great memory. H.A.I. was a Honorary teacher in many Seminarys and Bible Colleges. The Lord Jesus gave us peace we did not deserve. What Love! What Grace! What a Savior! Isaiah 53:10, the first 8 words: #Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him. “We bow our heads in worship to our Living Heavenly Father.

Such a wonderful article. This is so needed to remind us that we will never find peace in the things of this world. Until we surrender our heart and life to the Lord Jesus we will look for this peace but will always fail to find it. It is like that song “Looking for love in all the wrong places.” Everyday He reminds me how much I am loved and that He gave His life for me. How can anything in this world compare to this love?
After we surrender our lives to the Lord the evil in this world will try to take take our peace. This is why it is so important to put on the ARMOUR of God everyday. Praise His wonderful name!!

Oh, how I needed to hear this this morning. Brother Ironside’s message reminded me of Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Thank you for posting this much-needed, timely message. The Lord’s return draws very near, and correspondingly, the world grows darker than ever before. I need to do a better job of keeping my focus on the Lord Jesus, and not on the chaos unfolding around us. May God bless your continued efforts for the sake of the Church. (Please excuse me if this posts twice; the first time didn’t seem to work.)
