In 2004, the editors at Lighthouse Trails came into contact with former New Age follower Warren B. Smith after reading his book, Deceived on Purpose (which had been released that year). We had been so affected by the book that we placed a notice about it on our website. A few days later, after seeing the notice, Warren called our office to introduce himself. Our editors have been working together with Warren ever since.
As many of our readers know, 2016 and 2017 were very difficult years for Warren and his wife Joy. In addition to losing three close co-workers in ministry, Ray Yungen, Caryl Matrisciana, and Larry DeBruyn, Warren and Joy’s home was nearly destroyed in a fire (causing the death of four family pets), and months later, Warren suffered a near-fatal heart attack.
We asked Warren recently if he could give us a brief ministry update to share with our readers as we know so many of you have been helped and blessed by his work. Here is what he wrote—
Dear Friends,
The last few years has been a challenging time, but my health and our living situation have more or less stabilized. Thankfully, God has enabled me to keep writing and doing ministry throughout this period. I have completed a number of booklets published by Lighthouse Trails and am presently working on a writing project for Mountain Stream Press. We have also established the Warren B Smith YouTube channel and the newagetoamazinggrace.com website with the help of Chris Lawson and his Spiritual Research Network.
The YouTube channel now has over 2100 subscribers, and we get a lot of good feedback from people who have benefited from watching talks I have given over the years. Many have been made more aware of the spiritual deception that has crept into today’s church, and a number of people have been saved. One formerly prominent New Age leader has publicly testified that our book The Light That Was Dark was instrumental in her Christian conversion.
We are very grateful to those who pray and feel led to support our ministry as we continue to press on to the higher calling of our Lord (Philippians 3:14).
God bless and many thanks,
Warren B. Smith

Please keep Warren and Joy in your prayers as they continue in ministry. If you would like to support them in their work of helping equip the saints and sharing the Gospel, visit www.newagetoamazinggrace.com, or write to them at: P.O. Box 271, Fortine, MT. 59918. Keep in mind that Warren’s YouTube channel is a great resource to share with believers and non-believers alike who are involved somehow with the New Age.

Thank you brother Warren, for your service to God and the Church. Being a watchmen, and alerting other members of the body, about false teachings, infiltration into the Church. Discernment is something Christian’s need to grow in, thankful for others, who have shined the light of the Gospel into the dark places.

Thank you Warren, so grateful for you and your wife! I’m glad you’re still with us and still working at something to benefit those who need it as well as believers! I pray God keeps you in good health, your wife as well!

God Bless You, Warren! You are much appreciated. I pray you will be strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit to continue in the grace of God to bless the Body of Christ as His love, truth, and power flow through you. You are SO needed in this day and time.

Praying right now for your sister, Gary, in agreement with all that you said. God bless you and her both.

Off-topic . . . but Chris Lawson is one mean surfer!

I have been blessed by every one of Warren’s books, all insightful, and exposing the various New Age agendas that are creeping into the church at large.
Also, while not a ministry book, I highly recommend his, “Watering The Greyhound Garden” … very well written and a superb read!

I also have been blessed by his ministry. I bought (Kindle), read and gave the (book) -The Light That Was Dark- to my sister that has been into A Course In Miracles for decades. Please pray that it will speak to her when searching for truth, penetrating her heart at the right time. I have been praying that “they” will show themselves for who the actually are turning her to Christ for peace.
Thank you Warren for your many years of ministry.
