Walmart plans to end its diversity, equity, and inclusion—or DEI—initiatives, the retail giant said on Nov. 25.
“We’ve been on a journey and know we aren’t perfect, but every decision comes from a place of wanting to foster a sense of belonging, to open doors to opportunities for all our associates, customers and suppliers and to be a Walmart for everyone,” the company said in a statement.
The company announced that it will refrain from financing events aimed at sexually influencing children, stop participating in the Human Rights Coalition’s Corporate Equality Index, and remove the gender-neutral term “Latinx” from its documents, according to conservative filmmaker Robby Starbuck, who had been talking to Walmart for a story he was doing featuring the company’s DEI initiatives. And I would also like to just say, we need to remember where we get our stand on what the truth is…..it does not come from the “left” or the “right”, if you peel back the curtain on the “right” (CNP, NAR/MAGA affiliation ECT..) you can see the deceptions in both camps. We get our decisions on what the truth is from the word of God because there are no deceptions in His good book whatsoever. Take ALL things to His word and measure it to see if what all these worldly voices are saying is the truth. If it isn’t ….walk away…no, better yet RUN!
@ David Chapman, I tend to agree with you, as I read the article I kept thinking…hmmm, what’s their strategy here, what’s their end game…just doesn’t sit right, I am glad if this would be a true and genuine decision, but in this day and age we have to question things and be exceedingly discerning, the deceptions are extremely thick these days in the world and in the Church. Let’s keep our antennas up and pray and remember, MANY of Satan’s schemes are clothed in false light. Oh Lord, help us in these times 🙏🏼.

Keep in mind that Leftists never abandon their policies. They often engage in rebranding. They are abandoning the title of DEI, but they will rebrand it as something else. When CRT got bad coverage, they rebranded it as DEI. When Obamacare got a bad rap, they renamed it “The Affordable Care Act.” When Global Warming was discovered to be a farce, they renamed it “Climate Change.” So, they are probably going to keep the DEI practices but hide those practices under a different name. DEI is not dead at Walmart. Not by a longshot.
