A Colorado homeschooling mother has won a social-services case sparked by a\u00a0 neighbor\u2019s complaint about the family that escalated when a social worker did a \u201cdrive-by\u201d and concluded they were planning to flee.<\/p>\n

A neighbor of the single mother, whose identity has been withheld to protect\u00a0 her family\u2019s privacy, tipped off social services that the mother had been\u00a0 homeschooling several children, according to the\u00a0 Home School Legal Defense Association.<\/p>\n

When an investigator arrived at her door in the fall of 2011, the mother\u00a0 immediately contacted the HSLDA, the nation\u2019s premiere legal defense fund\u00a0 dedicated to parents\u2019 right to home educate.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
