Lynchburg, Virginia \u2013 Liberty University is coming under fire following a recent essay released by a former student who shared his story of being a practicing homosexual on campus.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, The Atlantic<\/em> published an essay last week penned by former Liberty student Brandon Ambrosino, outlining his personal experience of life on campus after coming out as a homosexual.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen people find out I underwent therapy at Jerry Falwell\u2019s Christian college, they assume I went through something like gay reparative therapy. But that isn\u2019t what happened,\u201d he wrote in the piece, entitled Being Gay at Jerry Falwell\u2019s University<\/em>. \u201cI saw two counselors at Liberty \u2026 and neither of them ever expressed an interest in \u2018curing\u2019 me.
