{"id":12118,"date":"2013-07-05T00:59:42","date_gmt":"2013-07-05T04:59:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/?p=12118"},"modified":"2013-07-05T00:59:42","modified_gmt":"2013-07-05T04:59:42","slug":"obama-admin-forcing-german-christians-to-send-children-to-public-school-is-not-persecution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/obama-admin-forcing-german-christians-to-send-children-to-public-school-is-not-persecution\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Obama Admin: Forcing German Christians to Send Children to Public School is Not Persecution&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Heather Clark<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>Christian News Network<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WASHINGTON \u2013 The Obama administration has replied to a request for rehearing of a case involving a Christian homeschooling family seeking asylum in the United States, asserting that the couple has not been able to prove that they have been persecuted by being forced to send their children to public school.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/christiannews.net\/2013\/06\/18\/appeals-court-orders-obama-admin-to-respond-to-christian-homeschooling-familys-rehearing\/\" target=\"_blank\">As previously reported<\/a>, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals ordered the United States Department of Justice to respond to a rehearing request filed by attorneys for Uwe and Hannelore Romeike last month.
