First, you will see&nbsp;most of&nbsp;the new homes that have been built for these Christian families in&nbsp;Kenya, solely from the donations of Understand the Times and Lighthouse Trails readers. This project, which began just 2 and a half years ago,&nbsp;truly has been a testimony of God&#8217;s love and faithfulness. There are currently 20&nbsp;Christian families&nbsp;being supported now. New houses with metal roofs, plastered and painted walls, and cook stoves with proper piping and ventilation have replaced mud huts with grass roofs and cooking done on the ground. And the children are being taught the Word of God and the ways of the Lord. We believe some of these children will be used someday in Kenya to testify of God. The&nbsp;three men there who are directing this program have a solid understanding of spiritual deception and the times in which we live, and they pass this understanding on to the widows,&nbsp;children,&nbsp;and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hope you will consider being part of this growing project. There are so many needs for these families (e.g., furniture, emergency medical fund, clothing and shoes, basic needs beyond food, wells, gardening supplies,&nbsp;and Bibles). The Bibles are also given out to area pastors and church leaders&nbsp;who do not have Bibles.)Please pray for the Bryce Home widows and children as well as the three men -Walter, Pastor Nelson, and Pastor Achilla &#8211;&nbsp;and their families for protection, guidance, wisdom, and God&#8217;s grace. Also now that most of these 20 families have better housing, we hope to be able to build wells so that each family can grow its own vegetables. And in time, we would like to help as many of these families as possible find ways to make some income for their families&nbsp;(such as the 12 widows who are making baskets for Lighthouse Trails readers to buy &#8211; all the money goes to the widows except for materials and shipping costs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you would like to donate, remember, all donations go through Understand the Times.
