{"id":13071,"date":"2013-09-01T08:41:44","date_gmt":"2013-09-01T12:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/?p=13071"},"modified":"2025-05-13T17:10:26","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T00:10:26","slug":"armed-german-officials-swarm-home-seize-couples-homeschooled-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/armed-german-officials-swarm-home-seize-couples-homeschooled-children\/","title":{"rendered":"Armed German Officials Swarm Home, Seize Couple\u2019s Homeschooled Children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Heather Clark<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Christian News Network<\/em><\/p>\n<p>DARMSTADT, Germany &#8212; German officials raided the home of a homeschooling family this week and seized all four children, declaring that the parents would not see them \u2018anytime soon.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) reports that the incident took place on Thursday morning, as approximately 20 social workers, police officers and special agents swarmed the home of Dirk and Petra Wunderlich. \u00a0A family court judge in Darmstadt had signed an order that day authorizing officials to immediately seize the Wunderlich\u2019s children for failing to cooperate \u201cwith the authorities to send the children to [public] school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI looked through a window and saw many people, police, and special agents, all armed,\u201d Dirk told HSLDA. \u201cThey told me they wanted to come in to speak with me.
