“Freedom is Not for Idleness!”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For idleness, we don\u2019t desire freedom,
\nA holy labor waits in virgin soil!
\nThe melting, ringing song of spring is sounding
\nAnd harvest fields are rousing from their sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The holy morning of Christ\u2019s Resurrection
\nFills with abundant strength and thrills our breast!
\nOnce more the message of the Gospel\u2019s sounding
\nOf Him, the One who wakens souls to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The persecuted churches meet with gladness!
\nIn many eyes, there glisten tears of joy,
\nAnd to our God a gratitude, unending,
\nGlows with a flaming love in every heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My friends, I know how harsh has been the pathway
\nYou passed along, in heavy chains for Christ!
\nToday you still untremblingly are willing
\nTo walk in far-off places for the Faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For idleness, we don\u2019t desire freedom!
\nWe have been called the good news to proclaim,
\nTo serve our people still must be our purpose,
\nTo serve our God\u2014our honor and delight!
