“Hillary Clinton to Attend Global Summit on “AIDS and the Church” in California”

The third annual Global Summit On AIDS and the Church announced that Senator Hillary Clinton is the first presidential candidate to confirm attendance to this year’s event. The summit, held in Lake Forest, California at Saddleback Church, extended invitations to all presidential candidates in hopes of fostering conversation. The summit is being held November 27 – December 1. The church’s pastor, Dr. Rick Warren, is also the author of “The Purpose Driven Life.”<\/p>\n

Five of the invited candidates have expressed desire to participate and are ironing out scheduling issues. Mitt Romny, Sen. Barack Obama, former Sen. John Edwards, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee all said they wished to attend if possible.
