The woman who interviewed the Canadian father has posted this today on YouTube explaining: https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DwV4BSLUylQ. Thanks to one of our readers below, a link was provided to download the interview (which LT did), and we will be posting that directly from our server.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/bigstockphoto_Canadian_Flag_25613-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27852\" style=\"width:406px;height:270px\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On February 10th, Rob Hoogland, the Canadian father who was court ordered to remain silent regarding the court-allowed gender-transitioning treatments of his 14-year-old daughter, broke silence and did an interview. Shortly after the interview was posted, the woman who interviewed Mr. Hoogland was ordered by lawyers to remove the video and was summoned to court on February 13th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-background\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Background<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In March of 2019, Lighthouse Trails posted an article by <em>The Federalist<\/em> titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/?p=29756\">\u201cCanadian Court Rules Parents Can\u2019t Stop 14-Year-Old From Taking Trans Hormones.\u201d<\/a> The article was reporting on a Canadian father who was trying to prevent Canadian medical teams from giving his then 14-year-old daughter transgender hormones. The Canadian Courts ruled that he, as the girl&#8217;s father, had no rights to stop the irreversible gender-transition treatments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the 3rd week of May 2019, Lighthouse Trails received an e-mail from a law firm in Canada ordering us to remove <em>The Federalist <\/em>post from our site (based on a gag order that had been issued by a Canadian court regarding the case). We did not respond to their request, nor did we remove the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 31, 2019, we posted a second article by <em>The Federalist<\/em> titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/?p=30302\">&#8220;Authorities To Arrest Canadian Father If He Refers To Trans Child As Her Real Sex.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basically, the Canadian courts have forbidden the father of the &#8220;transitioning&#8221; daughter to speak publicly about what has happened and how his rights to protect his child were completely stripped. Yesterday, we received an e-mail from one of our Canadian readers who sent us a link to a video interview with the father that was done this week. Facebook and YouTube have apparently already removed the video, but it can still be watched at another website (see below). We urge you to watch this before it completely disappears. It will help you to understand the battle that Canadian parents are facing right now and how the Canadian courts are allowing the tragic abuse of Canadian children to take place. And for our U.S. readers, do not think that we are not very close to this happening here in America. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incidentally, in January of 2018, Lighthouse Trails published the booklet, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com\/blog\/?p=27764\"><em>Transgenderism and Our Children<\/em>.<\/a> Shortly after releasing it, we were informed by Canadian customs officials that we were not legally allowed to send the booklet across the border. We told our Canadian readers at that time that since it was still legal for Canadian residents to have such a booklet in their possession (even though it is classified as &#8220;hate propaganda&#8221; by the Canadian government), we would freely e-mail a PDF of the booklet to any Canadian reader who would like to print and distribute it in Canada.
