This year’s Youth Specialties-hosted National Youth Workers Convention <\/a>will include a labyrinth<\/a>(Meditative words and music guide you on a one-hour reflective journey), and a huge speakers list that includes several contemplative\/emerging promoting authors including Dan Kimball (The Emerging Church<\/em>), Fil Anderson (Running on Empty: Contemplative Spirituality for Overachievers<\/em>), Lauren Winner (Girl Meets God<\/em>),and Mark Oestreicher (President Youth Specialties – says Christianity is an Eastern religion). Emergent leader Tony Jones and Tony Campolo as well as representatives from two mega churches, Wooddale (MN) and Saddleback will also be featured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
