\u00a0Dear Lighthouse Trails:<\/p>\n
I thought you might be interested – \u00a0you might remember that a couple of weeks ago, you sent us some more books.\u00a0 This is the little story.<\/p>\n
There was an older couple friend that we used to visit with a lot until about two years ago when I became labeled as a bit of a \u201cfanatic\u201d \u2013 imagine that, people like us being labeled as fanatics.<\/p>\n
Well, we ran into this couple at a ______________ banquet but now their daughter is in a situation at the big church in ____________ .\u00a0 She was a worship leader and very well respected.<\/p>\n
Long story short, we gave them a copy of Faith Undone<\/em> and a week later she called me \u2026 in shock.\u00a0 She could hardly believe what she had read.\u00a0<\/p>\n Last night we were invited to her daughter’s place and for an hour and a half, we talked about this \u201cstuff.\u201d\u00a0 But, by this time, she had a copy of the book.\u00a0 Her Mom had taken five copies of our last order and given them to all of her adult kids in Minnesota, Montana, and Canada.\u00a0 Again, this younger lady said it was like scales falling off her eyes.\u00a0 The difference is that this gal is a home schooler, very sharp, very well respected in those circles, a reader\/intellectual type and she will influence others.\u00a0 I gave her another book to give to a friend and told her about your website.\u00a0 I explained that you folks were also \u201cfanatics\u201d and she laughed.\u00a0<\/p>\n One side note, I feel that with both of these families, this has been like a healing of relationships.\u00a0 More important, it is my dream to try and influence people one person at a time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We received the following letter…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":31,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[63,4],"tags":[61,365,437],"class_list":["post-5208","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-the-new-spirituality","category-defending-the-faith","tag-spiritual-deception","tag-faith-undone","tag-letter-to-the-editor","wpcat-63-id","wpcat-4-id"],"yoast_head":"\n
