In\u00a0January of 2011\u00a0Lighthouse Trails stunned Bible believing Christians with\u00a0its report on Rick Warren\u2019s\u00a0selection of three Eastern\/new age meditation proponents\u00a0to help with his\u00a0weight loss program, The Daniel Plan\u00a0(<\/em>READ<\/a>).\u00a0But\u00a0promotion\u00a0of anti-biblical meditation\u00a0has\u00a0remained (READ).<\/p>\n

Now this video of Dr. Daniel Amen can also be seen on the Saddleback Church Daniel Plan<\/em> site. On Week 22: Minding Men\u2019s Health\u2013Be a Better Man, Dad, or Husband,<\/em> we can link HERE<\/a>\u00a0and watch Dr. Amen state, \u201cMeditation fooled us. We thought, you know, meditate, zone out, brain calms down\u2013absolutely not like that at all. When people meditate it activates the frontal part of their brain, which is the most human, thoughtful part of the brain<\/strong>.\u201d (Bold mine) You can find this beginning at 8:46 of the video, give or take a few seconds, and this is a decidedly positive portrayal of meditation.
