LTRP Note:<\/strong> The “heaven” experience described in the Newsweek<\/em> cover story is reminiscent of the description Warren B. Smith gives of the teachings of New Age figures Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson (A Course in Miracles<\/em>), <\/a>and Barbara Marx Hubbard in\u00a0Smith’s book, False Christ Coming: Does Anybody Care?, <\/em>which reveals the efforts by New Age\u00a0leaders to re-condition humanity\u00a0to accept the false christ\u00a0who will one day claim to save the world. \u00a0See\u00a0below the Letter to\u00a0the Editor\u00a0in “Related Articles” and “Quotes” for more on this. As you read everything below, remember these words: “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” – Jude 3<\/p>\n

Dear Lighthouse Trails:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today I am writing because I thought that you might be interested in the cover page article from Newsweek<\/em> titled “Heaven is Real.”<\/a> It is simply another story of an after-death experience that shows itself to be another deception from Satan when a shimmering being communicates the trifold message “You are loved and cherished, dearly, forever,” “You have nothing to fear,” and “There is nothing you can do wrong.”<\/p>\n

His description goes further, stating, “I would suggest that you couldn’t look at anything in that world at all, for the word “at” itself implies a separation that did not exist there. Everything was distinct, yet everything was also a part of everything else, like the rich and intermingled designs on a Persian carpet. . .or a butterfly’s wing.”<\/p>\n

He goes on to say that he found God in the “pitch-black,” “immense void, completely dark, infinite in size, yet also infinitely comforting.” And “It was as if I were being born into a larger world, and the universe itself was like a giant cosmic womb.”<\/p>\n

He concludes, “Not only is the universe defined by unity, it is also–I now know- defined by love. The universe as I experienced it in my coma is–I have come to see with both shock and joy–the same one that both Einstein and Jesus were speaking of in their (very) different ways.” And “. . . every object and event in the universe is completely woven up with every other object and event. There is no true separation.”<\/p>\n

I just thought that you might want to read this article since this man’s experience seems to be similar to the experiences of people who meditate. It is interesting that it was the lead story in Newsweek<\/em> and even has a color graphic for this article on the front cover. He states that the world is about to make an evolutionary leap that will take all creation to a new level. Those who awaken to their own divinity, by aligning themselves as one with God and one with each other, will evolve. Those who continue to believe in \u201cfear\u201d and \u201cseparation,\u201d rather than in \u201clove\u201d and \u201coneness,\u201d will not evolve. Hubbard\u2019s \u201cChrist\u201d claims that with his help most of mankind will choose to evolve, calling this evolutionary leap \u201cthe Planetary Birth Experience.\u201d He refers to it as the coming time of \u201cPlanetary Pentecost.\u201d The \u201cbirth experience\u201d is a shared event in the future, an \u201cInstant of Co-operation,\u201d when everyone on the planet will be mysteriously changed in \u201cthe twinkling of an eye,\u201d as humanity is collectively born again into a new creation. Those who evolve will actually become a new species as Homo sapiens is collectively transformed into Homo universalis, or the \u201cUniversal Humanity.\u201d The \u201cUniversal Humanity\u201d will live together as a community of \u201cnatural Christs\u201d in the \u201cNew Heaven\u201d on the \u201cNew Earth\u201d that is the \u201cNew Jerusalem.\u201d (Warren B. Marianne Williamson:<\/strong><\/p>\n

To remember that you are part of God, that you are loved and lovable, is not arrogant. It\u2019s humble. To think you are anything else is arrogant, because it implies you\u2019re something other than a creation of God.<\/p>\n

We are holy beings, individual cells in the body of Christ.<\/p>\n

We are who God created us to be. We are all one, we are love itself. “Accepting the Christ” is merely a shift in self-perception.<\/p>\n

The concept of a divine, or “Christ” mind, is the idea that, at our core, we are not just identical, but actually the same being. “There is only one begotten Son” doesn\u2019t mean that someone else was it, and we\u2019re not. It means we\u2019re all it. There\u2019s only one of us here.<\/p>\n
