“The House Votes to Decriminalize Marijuana at the Federal Level”
LTRP Note: The following is posted for informational and research purposes and not meant as an endorsement of the source or the content. Lighthouse Trails’ authors Richard and Linda Nathan have written extensively regarding the use of recreational marijuana. You can read their report, The Cross and the Marijuana Leaf here.

WASHINGTON — The Democratic-controlled House on Friday approved a bill to decriminalize and tax marijuana at the federal level, reversing what supporters call a failed policy of criminalizing pot use and taking steps to address racial disparities in enforcement of federal drug laws.

Opponents, mostly Republicans, called the bill a hollow political gesture and mocked Democrats for bringing it up at a time when thousands of Americans are dying from the coronavirus pandemic. Click here to continue reading.

A Few Comments From Our Readers on Marijuana Issue:

Take it from a former drug user saved by the Grace of God, that the “Democrat’s” in the House of Representatives would love all Americans to start smoking marijuana. Why? The Bible calls it Sorcery. Marijuana is a hallucinogenic that alters reality for the user. Seducing Spirits could help cause panic and anxiety attacks for them. High THC levels in marijuana can even cause losing mind control and cause mental and spiritual harm. Does marijuana lead to stronger drug use? Yes it does. A witch I knew use to lace marijuana with Cocaine and sometimes muscle relaxers. What a buzz that was. The AMA still calls Cannabis a dangerous drug. My drug use almost got me killed in a car accident when my friend hit a tree and we both hit the windshield. Oh the Grace of God!!! Christians must never turn to the drug world for help of any kind. It is satanic, evil and dangerous. The Bible is clear about this. I thank God every day for saving me! Jeffry

I agree one hundred percent with your post Jeffrey. Drugs all tie in with the occult and the demonic realm.
I know this from growing up with an older brother who was involved heavily in Witchcraft and he claimed he knew a real witch. He dressed totally in black and was terribly tormented by demons throughout this time of occult involvement. There were probably drugs involved, namely LSD as on one occasion he was driving, with our brother in the car beside him and suddenly let go of the steering wheel exclaiming that he saw coloured lights above him. My other brother took the wheel and somehow they were delivered out of that situation without harm. Yes, thanks be to God forever and ever for his mercies and divine interventions and grace! My children constantly downplay the seriousness of drug use and especially as it pertains to marijuana use, as if that carries no repercussions whatsoever with it. Your post reminds me that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, and that our prayer needs to be for deliverance from demonic strongholds for those oppressed in this way. Thank you again for sharing. Heidi

I’d love to say that I don’t care if folks choose to live their lives stoned and non-sober because that’s their choice. But I do have a big problem with smelling pot everywhere lately. The dank odor fills my car while it drifts in from nearby vehicles. And groups are smoking weed on the ski slopes, the forest. Can’t escape . They can choose to smoke it. BUT I don’t have the choice to not have to breathe it in. Seems a bit unfair. Jeny

“California Judge Slaps Down Newsom Ban on Church Gatherings”
LTRP Note: The following news story is posted for informational and research purposes.

By Mark Tapscott
The Epoch Times

California Superior Court Judge Gregory Pulskamp delivered a stinging rebuke of Gov. Gavin Newsom late on Dec. 10, ruling against “all COVID-19 restrictions that fail to treat houses of worship equal to the favored class” of businesses such as Walmart and movie production houses.

The case of Father Trevor Burfitt v. Gavin Newsom was brought by attorneys for the Thomas More Society on behalf of Father Trevor Burfitt and parishes in San Bernadino, Los Angeles, Kern, and San Diego counties. Those parishes, as well as Protestant, Jewish, and other religious groups were barred from holding indoor gatherings of any kind.

The judge singled out Newsom’s recently issued “Blueprint for a Safer Economy” and “Regional Stay at Home Order” as failing to satisfy the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom of worship and practice because they aren’t applied equally and in the least restrictive manner required to achieve an essential public interest. Faith Under Fire: Are You Growing in It or Fleeing From It?
LTRJ Note: The following is from Cedric Fisher’s booklet of the same title.

Faith Under Fire: Are You Growing in It or Fleeing From It?

By Cedric H. Fisher

God’s Word gives us examples of faith in the fire, faith in the flood, faith when outnumbered by the enemy, faith when facing an indomitable foe, faith in prison, faith during torture, faith when destitute, hungry, and thirsty, faith on stormy seas, faith to lose everything and faith to receive it all back again, faith to procreate though infertile, and faith to die. Every instance of faith thus described is manifested in adversity or great need. To find examples in Scripture of faith operating in a peaceful and bountiful climate would be a difficult task. I’m not sure there are any at all.

The Bible likens God’s way of purifying the faith of a believer to the refining process of gold. Peter writes:

. . . that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:7)

The refining process of gold requires that it be heated to a molten condition whereby the impurities (dross) float to the top and are skimmed off. The prophet Malachi describes this process as an illustration of how God purifies the believer:

[A]nd he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. (Malachi 3:3)

Some might contend that the peaceful climate is the result of faith. That may be true, but it is not faith in operation. Good health is the result of exercise, but it is not exercise. If our comfortable status is faith, then the testings of faith would not require adversity. Further, there would be no biblical examples of godly men and women exercising faith to overcome adversity.

The obvious truth is that the appearance of faith tends to be relatively dormant in times of peace. We are sustained by the benefits of our relationship with God. However, when a true Christian believes he can go through life without any adversity, such a person is being set up to be “channeled.” Now, what I am referring to by “channeled” is this: when someone tries to avoid adversity, he is actually setting himself up to be manipulated and channeled by Satan who is always at work to make it difficult and painful for devoted believers to obey God’s will.

Let me elaborate on this line of thought. If a Christian believer intends to be a light that shines in darkness, he becomes a target of evil entities. If he stands up for and speaks the truth, he will suffer. If he accepts, assimilates, and defends the values of godliness, he will suffer. If he refuses to go with the flow of nominal Christianity or worse, apostasy, he will suffer. If he refuses to deviate from God’s Word in a time of great compromise, he will suffer. If he has a prophetic calling, he might even lose his life for Christ’s sake.

Consider this scenario: A professing Christian has witnessed the suffering of a fellow believer who is being a true witness for Jesus Christ. The professing Christian has tried to do the same and experiences similar sufferings and consequences. As a result, he decides to avoid manifesting any fruit of Christianity that causes contention, rejection, or persecution. He is considered one of the nicest, most gregarious, kindly, friendly, and positive people. Everyone loves him and speaks well of him. What’s more, he is flexible and capable of mingling with any belief system. Nearly everyone enjoys associating with him, and he has excellent rapport with all of them. Secular and religious people of all stripes laud him as an example of a true Christian. And he does not want to lose that status, so he makes every attempt to make sure he doesn’t end up suffering again.

However, such a Christian does not match the examples of what the Bible describes as true Christianity, nor does he match the example of Christ Himself. In reality, such professing Christians, in their efforts to avoid the consequences and sufferings of true Christianity, are being “channeled” by Satan and his imps. Upon seeing this compromising attitude, these adversaries of our souls can re-circumvent lives (i.e., change the direction one is going) by causing situations that re-direct that person in his walk because he wants to avoid suffering, ridicule, and rejection for standing in and defending the faith.

These re-directed channeled Christians have, in effect, turned down their light to a non-offensive level. In fact, they are not actually lights at all, but shadows; they lie somewhere between light and darkness. The path they walk weaves around every uncomfortable and inconvenient situation; they walk in a state of delusion because deceit has become the norm for them. Christ warned about this type of fruitless follower.

Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. (Luke 6:26)

The apostle Paul described what would befall the ones who truly desire to live godly in Christ. “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). Peter also wrote about the suffering of true followers of Christ. He mentioned the suffering of believers eighteen times in his first letter.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:12-13)

Isn’t it interesting (and tragic) that so many modern-day Christians believe it is strange to suffer and that it is not God’s will. They believe they are supposed to be constantly happy, blessed, healthy, wealthy, and peaceful, while enjoying life in this temporal realm. The terms “happy,” “blessed,” “peaceful,” etc, are relative. Those emotions are based on a life ordered by them, not by God. They avoid all negativity. They have no productivity because it is inconvenient.

Heretics find a willing audience in these individuals because they never resist darkness. To do so would be too uncomfortable and painful. Their lives are empty, swept, and ordered (Matthew 12:44).  They’ve maintained a shiny neon shell of godliness, but there is no substance inside. The will of God is not included in their order. Standing up for truth, being a true light that exposes evil, obeying God when the price is rejection, or worse, harsh persecution, are not in their order of things to do.

The focus of that type of professing Christian is on milking God’s Word and kingdom of all the benefits without incurring the costs of genuine relationship. They are “professors,” but not possessors. They never exercise faith because they avoid the situations where faith is needed. There is no sense of true victory in them. There must be constant stimulation from a source other than God and His Word. . . .

In the apostle Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he so eloquently describes the role and the results of our willingness to suffer for Christ’s sake:

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings. (Philippians 3:7-10)

Christians who do not exercise their faith but rather run from it end up in a miserable and decrepit spiritual condition. And allowing such a thing to happen does not honor God at all. For one thing, it ignores and rejects all He has given us for victory, the “precious promises” He gives us for living godly lives consecrated to Him. To such people, the substance of faith is more a happy thought or luck charm than it is a supernatural infusion of iron will to fight the good fight and win:

[W]hereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:4-8)

The damage of the so-called “positive confession” aka “Word of Faith” heresy has been to strip out the heart of a warrior and replace it with the heart of entitlement-mindedness. Even committed followers of Jesus Christ can be affected by this fallacy if they are not watchful. When they suffer and feel alone and rejected, they wonder if God has abandoned them. That is actually an opportunity for faith to go from embers to blazing brilliance.
As long as we are humans and children of God, we need the trials. When distraction and disfocus dim our view of God’s glory or our humanity incrementally cools us to a temperature less than hot, we need the fiery trials. In essence, we must embrace them. Paul said he actually took pleasure in them (because he knew the benefits of them):

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

From my own experiences during fiery trials, I can testify that the pain, the angst, and other suffering are conquered the instant I surrender to the flames. It is like falling backwards off a steep cliff into the hands of God. There is no parachute and no stopping halfway. If He doesn’t catch you, then you will hit the bottom and die. That is literally the goal of faith—to trust God with your life and everything in it. All that is not put into His hands is unprotected and causes us angst and suffering. However, when all is surrendered, we receive a deep serenity that the fire will not burn anything except what needs to be consumed. That’s when the gold shines.

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:6-9; emphasis added)

Remember, the destiny of Christ was a cross. Our destiny is also a cross. Only when we accept that destiny, will we understand. Newness of life has its birth and growing pains. But the heart of a believer in Jesus Christ holds this proverb by its roots:

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18; emphasis added)

In the meantime, let us not grow weary of the trials and tribulations of this life, knowing that God is doing His work within us for His glory:

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. (Job 23:10)

Bryce Homes Kenya has every reason to thank God for this timely program that has been putting smiles on the faces of orphan children and widows at a time the world continue to battle with the effects of covid-19 pandemic. It is now ten years since this program humbly began in Kenya with Roger Oakland as the steward with the help of UTT and Light House Trails. We, the Bryce Homes Board in Kenya, have always been keenly following the growth of this program by conducting a general assessment through the testimonies from every beneficiary. These homes are branded as BH and accorded numbers. We are currently overseeing 33 BHs.

Every month, we take two day trips to reach out to every BH at the doorstep unless a home is inaccessible. During the monthly trip, we serve every BH with the foodstuff and laundry. Click here to continue reading report.

2020 The Secret: Dare to Dream Movie Rekindles 2006 Occultic Message

In 2020, a major motion picture called The Secret: Dare to Dream was released and is available through major outlets such as Amazon Prime and Netflix. The movie is based on a 2006 documentary and book called The Secret.

In 2007, Lighthouse Trails reported on the documentary film and the book, The Secret, both which quickly became mega best-sellers. The Secret’s main agenda is to promote “the law of attraction,” a New Age, occultic belief that your thoughts and words dictate what you will get or what will happen in your life (i.e., the power of positive thinking).

The Secret (the book) was written by Rhonda Byrne who was influenced and inspired to write the book by spirit-guide advocates Jerry and Esther Hicks (authors of The Law of Attraction). In the Acknowledgements of The Secret (which has now sold tens of millions of copies and is translated into dozens of languages), Byrne thanked the Hicks and the teachings of Abraham. Abraham is a group of spirit guides that Esther Hicks channels for guidance on spiritual issues. On their website, the Hicks stated:

Abraham, a group of obviously evolved teachers, speak their broader Non-physical perspective through the physical body of Esther [Hicks]. Speaking to our level of comprehension, from their present moment to our now, through a series of loving, allowing, brilliant yet comprehensively simple, recordings in print, in video, and in sound – they guide us to a clear connection with our Inner Being–they guide us to self-upliftment from our total self [god-self].

The 2020 movie, starring two popular Hollywood stars—Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas—rekindles The Secret’s message (that man can create his own destiny and reality because he has divinity within him) during a year (2020) of crisis and chaos when many are fearful and anxious about the future.

The following is our 2007 article on The Secret. Before watching the movie (and hopefully you won’t) or recommending it to someone else, please read our 2007 article which we have posted below:

The Secret: “A New Era for Humankind”

Last year’s film release, The Secret, makes no secret about it’s intentions: to let the world know that humanity is on the brink of a new era. This new era will open up to humanity unleashed power, riches, creativity and all that we ever dreamed of. A “secret” that has been locked away for centuries is now available to all.

The film, available only on DVD or online, is promoted by celebrities like Oprah and Larry King, and according to one celebrity on the film (Dr. Joe Vitale), in just a few days (Feb. 8th), Oprah will air a special about the film. Such promotion has helped to make the film an incredibly popular one, as can be seen by Amazon ranking, which puts the DVD in the #1 position for DVDs. According to a News & Observer article, “‘Secret’ Spreads Around the World,” 700,000 copies of the DVD have sold since its release last March.

News & Observer explains just how this “Secret” works:

In the film, viewers learn to ask for what they want. And, if they believe it, they will receive it.

It sounds simple enough, but here’s the catch: If you’re cynical, sad, depressed and resigned that nothing will change, nothing will. Thoughts are so powerful, the teachers insist, that you attract what you think about, even if you don’t want it. Get it?1

It’s these “teachers,” both ones from the past and present day ones, that The Secret uses to reveal this hidden knowledge. Present day teachers include Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul), John Gray (Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus), and an assortment of philosophers, writers, and visionaries who share their insights on the “Secret”:

“We have a magnificent inner calling, vision, mission, power inside us that we are not honoring and harnessing,” says philosopher and “Secret” teacher John Demartini in a recent telephone interview. “This movie brings it to the forefront that we can [harness that power].”2

Larry King calls the DVD the “most profound information he has run across in 40 years.”

The film focuses on the “law of attraction” and was produced by Australian-born screenwriter and producer Rhonda Byrne, who after a series of setbacks in her own life, discovered that past personalities like Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, William Shakespeare, Abraham Lincoln and others had this secret knowledge, and Byrne came to believe that it “was part of every religion, including Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism.”

In the trailer of the movie, it begins by showing a genie from a lamp, who tells the beholder “your wish is my command.” Research analyst Ray Yungen explains this concept:

[T]the genie represent[s] the Higher Self, who was reached through meditation by staring at the flame of an oil lamp. It was believed that a person could have whatever he or she wanted, once in touch with it. Our word genius comes from this Latin word for spirit guide and now means a person with great creative power.3

The premise of this is that we all have a divine essence within us, and we just need to get in touch with it. In other words, as panentheists teach, God is in all of creation, including all human beings, and once a person becomes aware of this, there are no limits to what he can achieve. Yungen elaborates:

Once a person merges with the Higher Self, he is on his way to empowerment, meaning he is capable of creating his own reality. Basically, all power is within the Higher Self, so when one is in tune with it, he can run his own show….

Metaphysicians believe that we all create our own circumstances anyway, so when we are guided and empowered by our Higher Self, we can consciously co-create with it.4

What is so alarming about The Secret is that it shares the same mystical view as the contemplative prayer movement, which is that all is one. The Secret film constantly makes reference to “the universal mind.” This is the same mindset that Thomas Merton, Henri Nouwen, and Tilden Edwards had. Listen:

“The human family is one in God’s spirit”–Edwards5

Thomas Merton said he believed that all religions share “the experience of divine light”6

Nouwen believed that “it is in the heart of God that we can come to the full realization of the unity of all that is”7

The “universal mind” in The Secret is the same as the unity of all that exists and this is exactly what is found among the “Christian” contemplative masters.

With the church’s fascination and embracing of meditation through the contemplative prayer movement (i.e., spiritual formation), the film further gives the green light to millions of Christians to be ushered deeper into mysticism. While less than a million people have thus far bought the DVD, everyone knows that when a product has Oprah’s signature of approval on it, sales automatically soar to astronomical levels, and Christian women are a huge segment of Oprah’s audience.

Without exaggeration, meditation is becoming an integral part of our society, in every facet: education, business, government, entertainment, health and religion. And with most Christian leaders promoting contemplative spirituality to at least some degree, Christendom is being affected dramatically. When Alice Bailey, who coined the term New Age and was instructed by her spirit guide, said that the age of enlightenment was going to come, not around the Christian church but rather through it, her “prophecy” may be coming to pass. Just last year, Fox Home Entertainment released a film called Be Still, an infomercial for contemplative prayer, in which numerous well known and highly respected Christian leaders took part. And nearly every major online Christian bookstore is selling books that promote New Age style meditation, which has a premise that all paths lead to God and divinity is within every human being thus removing the need for a Savior. If this promotion and embracing of meditation keeps up, then there really will be “a new era for humankind.” But it will be an era that the Bible warns about when it says: Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”

This coming week, when Oprah shows her special about the The Secret, please be praying that women (and men) watching this show will see this as further seduction into a mystical realm that is void of the Gospel of the true God and Light, Jesus Christ.

Fighting Fear in a Fearful Day

Heart-Felt Letter From a Prisoner
LTRP Note: Over the years, Lighthouse Trails has heard from numerous men (and some women) who are incarcerated in U.S. prisons. Those who have written to us have expressed their love and commitment to the Lord because of their gratitude for what He has done in their lives.

Most of these inmates do not have much money, and Lighthouse Trails does what it can to send materials. Since the majority of prisons do not allow books to be sent to inmates unless they come directly from the publisher, if you know someone who is in a U.S. prison who would like to receive our yearly research journal (which is mailed 4x a year) or other resources, you may send us his or her name, prison number, facility name, and mailing address to We will keep the information completely confidential and will not include your name or address in the mailing (unless you ask for just your name and/or a short note to be included).

The following letter we recently received expresses some of the challenges Bible-believing prisoners experience.

Dear Lighthouse Trails:

God bless and thank you for the booklets and one book, Who Wrote Our Hymns (I had planned buying it someday). They are making their rounds in my section and will go further when Covid clears to allow room for movement.  With the many books and booklets you’ve sent, and I’ve bought, they help when someone brings something “new” (or another author) to the table. Such is the case lately when the Bible study teacher brought a poem about the “Demoniac of Gardara” from John Piper and asked me what I thought of it.  I read it and did not like (approve) it.

Years back, the _______ Department of Criminal Justice believed it to be the best thing for rehabilitation needs to offer theology degrees on one of the units. Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary was their answer.  It is a four-year degree. Problem is, not a single one I’ve met holds to the King James. This is important to me. . . . The list goes on and ecumenical, emergent, apostate words describe well the seminary students that come through the program.

I add this to say, the person who introduced our teacher to Piper is himself a deluded seminary student.  I ask God to help them, but I guess with any other _____-approved curriculum, it cannot be singular, it must be plural.  Its almost laughable if it didn’t hurt so bad the persecution and disdain for Bible-believing Christians.  I’ll not give up; I just don’t want to make any brother stumble. I think it’s pride, but not proud in a self-confident way, because a lot of time I feel so humble I’d just get out of the way. No not that pride.  I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, but I cringe at the words and the schemes I hear toward the guards and other inmates. After twenty years here, I still don’t belong. I don’t want to fit the mold.

I am odd and different. It makes for a very solitary walk.  When I was a people person, I was well liked.  But I was a walking buffoon, a clown. An atheist.  God continues to change me, and every once in a while, I find someone whose life is where I am, and we enjoy each other’s company. But that is not here in my section.

After eight years in this same section, I’ve asked to be moved.  Lord willing I’ll find again those brothers I once connected with in my/our travels to and from wherever on the unit.

Years ago, the Lord allowed me to teach a Bible study.  Only thing I asked was we all use the King James Bible.  I read mostly but allowed the Holy Spirit to guide me. We had 16 men in the study at one time.  I’m still here, and they are all gone.  The Lord has not called me back to do a study, but I’m ready.

The John Piper poem didn’t make the rounds, thankfully. But Calvinism is making in roads because of the books and undiscerning souls.  Like John Piper and his selling of “Future Grace,” these men are nurtured by the seeker friendly, honey dripping, “non-judgmental” books and people; and eventually you’ve got to join this or that organization.  Thank God, the first organization I joined was Dave Hunt’s Berean Call!

Meeting people’s physical needs is great if they’re starving but honestly, they starve spiritually if we do not feed them the Word of God—goodness!

Prayer. Only God can change these who love and are loved by the world. We don’t need any more Billy Grahams, but instead Billy Sundays! Too Late? Pray.

I love you all.  I thank God for his ministry in the Lighthouse.  You all keep fighting the good fight, your crowns are waiting on you.  We can all throw them at the feet of the One who is our everything!

Thank you for listening,

Your brother,

Richard (not real name)

Harry Ironside gave a sermon (that can be watched –  see below) about the servant, Onesimus, who worked for Philemon and who after stealing from his master, fled and eventually ended up in prison with the apostle Paul who led the man to the Lord. It’s a beautiful account of the Gospel wherein Paul writes to Philemon and asks him to forgive his servant, receive him back into his household as now a brother, and charge the offense to Paul’s account.

Let us remember those believers who are imprisoned, having once walked in darkness but now, by His grace and mercy, walk in the light of our Savior.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:11)

12/15/20 - “Biden Denies Voter Fraud, Claims Election Victory”

LTRP Note: The following secular news story is posted for informational and research purposes and to provide alternative news sources other than mainstream media and “the evening news.”

By Ivan Pentchoukov
The Epoch Times

12/15/20 - Former Vice President Joe Biden on Monday denied that voter fraud occurred in the 2020 election and claimed Electoral College victory not long after Republicans in seven battleground states entered dueling slates of electors to be sent to Congress.

Biden made the comments after Republicans in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Nevada entered dueling slates of electors. Democrats made the same move in Hawaii in 1960 by sending an alternate slate of electors for John F. Kennedy after the state’s governor certified Richard Nixon as the winner. Congress ultimately counted the Democrat electors.

Biden made no mention of the dueling electors in his speech. He called on President Donald Trump to concede the race and disputed that the election was tainted by fraud. Click here to continue reading.

Donating to Lighthouse Trails

SUPPORTING LIGHTHOUSE TRAILS: For those who would like to support Lighthouse Trails, we always appreciate both your prayers and your giving. And for those who have faithfully done that over the years, we thank you with all of our hearts. We know that some people may have the impression that Lighthouse Trails does quite well financially because we sell products that we publish and because our resources have had such a far reach; but, the truth is, it takes everything made through sales to keep Lighthouse Trails operating. Publishing, at least for small presses such as ours, is rarely a high-profit business. It would take a best seller to see that, one that the masses of people love. And because we are not just a business, but even more so a ministry, we keep our prices as low as we can, give away many resources, and have also made much of our material available for free on the research site and blog. That's not how big corporations run things as that would hurt the bottom line (profit), but we see the needs out there, and we trust God to keep us going as long as He sees fit.

We thank you in advance for seeing the value in a ministry like Lighthouse Trails and coming along side us with your prayers and support.

It is our prayer that we will faithfully be humble servants of the Lord’s work for years to come should the Lord tarry. If you would like to donate to Lighthouse Trails, you may send a donation by mailing it to: Lighthouse Trails, P.O. Box 908, Eureka, MT 59917. Or you may call 866/876-3910. There is also a donate option on our store website. (There is also a PayPal option on that page.)

Lighthouse Trails is not a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, so your donations will not be tax deductible.

Shepherd's Bible Verse Tea - Sampler BoxIn 2010, Lighthouse Trails began a small organic tea division as a way to help support the ministry of Lighthouse Trails. Thus the creation of Shepherd's Bible Verse Tea with six different organic blends (each our very own creation). Each tea bag has a string with a tag, and on each tag is a KJV Bible verse (95 verses used). Since the tea division began, we have had many people tell us how much they love our tea. We hope you will consider getting a box and trying it out. It is a wonderful gift too and helps to remind people about God's wonderful Word. Click here to see what others are saying.

A note to our Canadian readers: As many of you know, in 2019, we were informed by the Canadian government that some of our booklets cannot be sent across the border into Canada because they would be considered "hate propaganda" according to recent Canadian law changes on homosexuality, same-sex marriage, and transgenderism. However, we also learned that it is currently not illegal for Canadians to have possession of these booklets (we just can't send them across the border). Therefore, Canadian readers may call 866-295-4143, the number of our new Canadian distributor, to obtain copies of all of our booklets and several of our books. In time, we hope that all Lighthouse Trails books will be available through the distributor. To view a complete list of our current booklets, click here.
