It is with pure joy that I thank you all for your ministry! I was moved to send your article on Christian colleges and seminaries that promote Spiritual Formation to a friend whose daughter will be attending one of the schools on the list (along with my own daughter). I also offered her the two books I bought from you several years ago (Faith Undone and A Time of Departing) to read if she wanted more information on the subject. I received a reply from her today and to my jubilation, she thanked me and said she also gets your newsletter and has been equipping her kids too with the information that you reveal in your blog. Praise God! My prayers continue for this ministry and those that contribute to it – it truly is equipping the saints.
BTW – I received on my doorstep yesterday a pamphlet from Maum Meditation. I’m stunned by the information inside it. No longer do we have just JW’s and Mormons going door to door, but now we have New Age proselytizers coming into our [Colorado]-area neighborhood. The front cover of the pamphlet enticingly reads: “Where does man go when he dies?” The inside cover says: Maum Meditation is throwing away the false mind. It goes on to contend there is a false world and a true world. Page 1 quotes: “All religious scriptures were seen and spoken from the True world.” “Maum Meditation teaches the method of destroying the false world, being reborn in the True world, and living eternally in the True world. The one who is born in the True world which is human completion while living will live forever. The one who lives in the false world just dies and that’s it.” “The universe minus human minus stars, sun, moon, and earth equals original universe equals heaven.” The back of the pamphlet has a satisfaction survey from those who practice with all percentages above 93% favorable – as well as personal testimonies. The back page says “Stop living in this land, go to the everlasting world of happiness, live forever.”
The times are getting darker and darker in America, and it’s coming up close and personal. Thank you again for raising a shout and warning the remnant.
