“It was the spirit of anti-christ that brought [the Jews] back to the Promised Land.” (Pastor Steven Anderson at 41:02 in Marching To Zion)
Steven Anderson, quoting 2 Chronicles 19:2, says, “The Bible teaches that if we help an ungodly and wicked nation like Israel, we’ll have God’s wrath on us.” (1:04:38)
Blasphemy.
Also disturbing is where I learned there was such a movie. There have been so many good things from the Apostasy Watch website over the years, detailed coverage of anti-biblical doctrines and movements. Now, unfortunately, Apostasy Watch has a link and recommendation to Steven Anderson’s hellish movie, Marching To Zion. Anderson and a few other Baptist pastors work very, very hard to further Replacement Theology.
As gotquestions.org explains, “Replacement theology … essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plan. Adherents of replacement theology believe the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people, and God does not have specific future plans for the nation of Israel.” … “Replacement theology teaches that … the many promises made to Israel in the Bible are fulfilled in the Christian church, not in Israel.” [1]
The movie works hard to get around Genesis 12:1-3, where, among other wonderful promises, the Lord states He will bless those who bless Israel, and curse the one who curses Israel.
According to Pastor Roger Jimenez, “[An] incorrect belief that is not found in Scripture is the belief that we should bless Israel.” (28:48)
Underlying the efforts to “prove” Replacement Theology is contempt for the nation of Israel and of Jews in general.
Steven Anderson on why Jews have been persecuted for centuries: “Why? And the answer is because of their blasphemy toward Christianity and their predatory lending practices.” (32:22)
At 42:02 in the movie, Anderson claims the Star of David is really the pagan and idolatrous Star of Remphan. (Acts 7:43, Amos 5:26-27)
There is (only) one good thing in this movie–John Hagee’s Dual Covenant theology (the unbiblical belief that Jewish people don’t need evangelizing) is exposed. (58:05)
Near the end of the movie, one of the featured pastors exclaims, “And so, I’m Israel. Those people over there [nation of Israel] are not Israel.” (1:34:36)
Steven Anderson repeats the same claim with different words: “We as Christians are the chosen people of God. We are the true Israel, and we are marching toward Zion.” (1:34:54)
Replacement Theology is spreading, and so are many other twisted beliefs, claims, and teachings. Watch this movie, if you can stomach it, and prepare yourselves for increasingly aggressive Replacement Theology advocates.

So disturbing to see the growing hatred towards Israel, the Jews and God’s promises for the Jews. I believe many Christians are jealous and see nothing special or unique about Israel, even though the Bible has abundant proof that God has a future plan and promise for Israel. I started to see the movie but decided not to. Those who hate Israel will be cursed, as the Bible says. Those who understand Israel’s place in the past, present and future will be blessed.
