The “healing revival” started by Todd Bentley that is currently taking place in Florida began with a demonic appearance by a spirit calling itself the “Winds of Change.”

This message of change is the same one that is resonating throughout the world, as this spirit prepares the world to make the “needed change” to the “christ-consciousness.”

Regarding this revival, there is an article at Elijah’s List called “TODD BENTLEY and BOB JONES: ‘The Third Wave is Here!’ 12 Places for Healing and Revival to Start are Mentioned–but THIS TIME IT’S GLOBAL”1. Some excerpts are:

“Are you feeling ‘the wind’ of the Spirit blowing where you are? The ‘winds of change’ angel appeared to Todd Bentley in Florida, and simultaneously to Bob Jones.”

“On New Year’s Eve, for 2008, God told Bob Jones that ‘the third wave was coming.’ Todd asked Bob what the third wave was. He said that Toronto was wave #1, Pensacola was wave #2, and the third wave is the “Winds of Change”–this move of God. This move will be a global move, traveling with signs and wonders all over the world! The third wave is here!”

“There would then be a move of the Holy Ghost, where entire towns would be shut down by the power of the Spirit.”

It was also mentioned to “set up your sail”–the “Winds of Change” are blowing! There are 12 places specifically mentioned where revival will hit first (listed in the order mentioned):

Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska; Kansas City, Missouri; Denver, Colorado; Nashville, Tennessee; Lakeland, Florida; Ohio; Charlotte, North Carolina; Albany, Oregon; Washington; and Redding, California.

“The third wave has begun! This wave promotes, prepares, purifies, pierces and inspires.”

This is the same demonic spirit that is at work in the Emerging Church and the New Age Movement. Brian McLaren’s book and tour, Everything Must Change, reveals that this change has to do with our beliefs, when he said, “When we believe in our heart that We Are All One, everything will change. Everything.”2 This is the same spirit that is behind The Shift.

>From an article at Kjos Ministries, called “Change! New worlds, New ways, New minds, New gods…”3, We read, in part:

“CHANGE! However hollow its promises, this common catchword does bring an illusion of unity. For even the most diverse politicians, pastors, managers and media masters across America seem to agree on this point: Change is essential to their own success.”

“It’s about change!” proclaims the Obama for Change website!”

“It’s not [just] about change,” said pollster Frank Luntz. It’s about a new beginning.”4

“‘This is not yesterday’s world; this world is now — and now just changed,’5 declares the “Rethink” website. Featuring speakers from diverse cultural arenas, it has joined Pastor Robert Schuller and Erwin McManus, former President George H.W. Bush, Larry King, Kay Warren, Rupert Murdoch and many others in collective dialogues that envision the future and propose the ‘needed’ change.”

“‘Do you need to change your life,’ asks Oprah Winfrey. ‘Do you feel STUCK? Are you UNHAPPY with your life?’6 Her fans answer ‘yes’–and Oprah guides the way. One of her solutions is the occult bestseller, The Secret.”

>From another article at Elijah’s List called Not a Pleading…but a PROPHETIC PRAYER: “On Earth As it IS IN HEAVEN!”7, we see a possible connection to this spirit of change. From the article, we read, “He is commanding us to call for God’s Kingdom to rule on earth!”

“Yes, even now, the armies of God in Heaven are beginning to unite with the armies of God on earth. Lightening-like power is beginning to fill the backbone of the redeemed.”

However, this call to take dominion does not come without a price to those who oppose this coming “kingdom.”

>From the mini book, Are You Being Led Away with the Error of the WickedÂto the New Age Ark of Oneness? by Tamara Hartzell8, we read:

“An increase of pressure on the part of all who recognize the factual nature of the inner subjective kingdom of God, will produce amazing results–the seducing spirit calling itself Djwhal Khul.9

“This divinity in man must be brought to the birth, both in the individual and in the race, and thus can the kingdom of God on earth be brought into being.–Alice Bailey10

“The true church is the kingdom of God on earth–composed of all, regardless of race or creed, who live by the light within, who have discovered the fact of the mystical Christ in their hearts, and are preparing to tread the Way of Initiation.–Alice Bailey11

“This will necessarily involve a pledging of the entire personality to the helping of humanity … United group effort would eventuate in an inspired reorganization of the entire world, and the elimination of hindrances.–the seducing spirit calling itself “Djwhal Khul.”12

“This world crisis, will, it is hoped, awaken men to the realization that the form side of manifestation, with its aggressive selfishness, its cruel emphases and its separative tendencies, carries inevitably with it the seeds of its own eventual elimination! [T]he whole aim of the present crisis is to shift the focus of human awareness out of the form and the material aspect of living, into the consciousness of the soul, and to do this at any cost to the hindering forms.–the seducing spirit calling itself Djwhal Khul.13

“There will be chaos before the shift. This is natural in advance of any shift of this proportion. For you are not merely changing your way of doing things, you are shifting your whole idea of Who You Are, as a person, as a collection of nations, as a species.–the seducing spirit calling itself “God”14

“Leonard Sweet wrote in Soul Tsunami (endorsed by Rick Warren): ‘Postmodern culture is a change-or-be-changed world. The word is out: Reinvent yourself for the 21st century or die.'”15

The literal fulfillment of this lies in the future.
